Please return all Progress Reports that went home before Thanksgiving break, ASAP.
In the beginning of the year, you received a paper that asked you to indicate how your child will be going home in the event of inclement weather. Some students have received new forms so that updated information can be noted. Please remember that in the event that school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, there will be no ASP, therefore you must indicate the bus that your child will need to ride home. ELF Simple Machine Projects are due on Friday Dec 16th and will NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT.
This week we are learning:
Math- Dividing multi-digit numbers and checking using multiplication (4NBT6)
Reading- Understanding words in text using context clues, with an emphasis on words that allude to significant characters found in mythology (4RL4)
Writing- Understanding opinion writing and how it is used to debate (4W1a-d)
Word Work- There will be no spelling words until after winter break.
Social Studies- Colonial Life (4H2b, 4H3 a-b) continued
Science- Simple Machines Review (4P3a-b)
