This week is an exciting one, as we start our week off with our first field trip! Here is what we will be learning this week.
- Reading- making inferences in fictional text (ELAGSE4RL1)
- ELA- High frequency words (contractions)/ Run on and fragmented sentences/Narrative writing (4W3, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4W5)
- Math- Multiplicative comparison (MGSEOA1, 1a, 1b, OA2)
- Social Studies- Early Explorers (SS4G2b, SS4H2, 2a, 2b)
We will again be working on high frequency words (contractions) this week. Please make sure that when your students are studying, that they know not only how to spell the contraction, but also understand what the contraction stands for, so they can use it in their writing.
