Learning Targets for this week;

  • Reading: We will be focusing on Text Structures in non-fiction text. (4.RI.5)
  • Writing: We will be continuing our study of researching and writing informational text. We will be focusing our research on the various tribes that had an influence in Georgia. (4.W.2, 4.W.4, 4.W.5)
  • Math: We will be focusing the difference between Area and Perimeter and how to use a formula to find each. (4.MD. )
  • Science: We will be continuing to study weather.  This will include the difference between climate and weather, weather tools, reading weather maps, and different types of extreme weather. (S4E4.a, S4E4.b,S4E4.c,S4E4,d)
  • Social Studies: We will continue our research about different Native American Tribes. (SS4H1, SS4H1a, SS4H1b)



Homework for Monday, September 19, 2016:

Reading: Read 30 minutes and complete Reading Log. Remember to have Agenda signed. 

ELA: Study words. (Assessment on Friday)

Math: Complete Area and Perimeter practice sheet located in Math journal.

Science: Complete Extreme Weather handouts which you worked on in class on Friday and today. Study your Weather Assessment Study Guide which is located in your Science journal. (Assessment on Friday)
