Learning Targets for this week:

Reading: How to find an author's point and supporting details. 

Writing: Students are continuing to write their informational essays. 

Math: We are reviewing place value and the 3 different ways to write a number (standard form, expanded form, and word form).  We will also continue to talk about how to round numbers to any place value. 

Science: We are continuing to learn about the water cycle. 

Homework for Monday, August 22nd:

Reading: Read for 30 minutes and complete your Reading Log. 

Math: Front Row Assignment.  Remember the link and class code are located in the "Notes" section of your agenda and in the "Classroom Links" tab on the blog. 

ELA:  Study your words.  Test on Friday!

We will be having our Student Council Class Representative elections on Wednesday.  If you would like to run, please be prepared to give your speech on Wednesday.

Back to Football Friday

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?  Teasley's Physical Education department is proud to partner with the NFL and their PLAY60 program to bring to you BACK TO FOOTBALL Friday on September 9th.  Back to Football Friday is a school wide event that encourages students to get active and excited about the upcoming football season.  Students are encouraged to wear their favorite NFL football gear.  During their specials time the students will participate in football related stations testing their throwing, catching, kicking, punting, and speed/agility.
